The common GeoEpi tool ecosystem and its practical roles.

GeoEpi uses several complementary systems. The right tool depends on the work and the collaborators; no single programming language or interface is mandatory.

GitHub and the GeoEpi organization Code, version control, documentation, collaboration, subproject repositories, and the future Lab Hub
SCINet, Atlas, and Ceres Large or controlled data, computation, and HPC
OSF Collaborator-accessible research objects, data sharing, or project resources where appropriate
Overleaf and LaTeX Collaborative manuscripts and technical documents, especially equations and complex scientific formatting
Zotero Shared GeoEpi literature libraries; individuals may use other managers for personal workflows
Quarto and GitHub Pages Reproducible reports, technical documentation, websites, and notebooks
R A commonly used language in GeoEpi workflows and examples, alongside other appropriate tools
